Recycled Products

At Gold Coast we hold ourselves to a high standard with regard to how we treat our customers and the environment. We are dedicated to helping the environment by recycling virtually all of the waste materials we collect. Here are some of the ways we recycle our products and turn them into usable, eco-friendly end products:

The used cooking oil we collect is processed and recycled into a high-demand product called Yellow Grease. Yellow Grease is frequently used as a high-energy liquid feed additive for animal and the pet food industries. Also, Yellow Grease is increasingly valuable as a raw material in the manufacturing of industrial fuels or bio-diesel.

The material we collect from grease traps is brought back to our own licensed processing facility where the wastewater is cleaned and treated. The oil (“FOG”) is further processed and refined. The final product is then returned to the marketplace where it has uses in industrial applications, such as the mining of fertilizer.
